Progress on David

Well, I worked on it for awhile tonite, and I think I made good progress. I stabbed my finger about a dozen times, I swear, that little needle hurts like bloody hell. I'm surprised I'm not on the floor bleeding to death, lol. I think I deserve a purple heart, or somthing. I am happy with it.

Changing the subject a bit, I cleaned my little piggies house tonite, then she decided to run under the table and not come out. Little brat. So, guess who had to crawl under the table to get her. Hmm, I wonder...

Hehe, I should'nt complain, we all love her to bits, and wouldn't have it any other way. Hubby works tonite, then has five days off. Yippee!

David Danced- first update

Ok, I cheated and started on it early. So, here is the first picture of my newest

design, and the first of 2010. It probably won't be to hard to guess what some of it

will be from just looking at it, that's ok, hehe.
I didn't really do much in the way of stitching this last year, I was busy with alot

of other things, which now includes a writing course for the next year. So I added a

few goals for the new year, hope it will be enough of a push to keep me going.
I don't know if I will add any thing more, I probably will if I come across something

I really like, which seems to happen alot, hehe.
I already have a felt craft project in the planning stage, so there I go already. I

don't think I will ever not have somthing to do!

I will add more if somthing comes up. :)

A very nice Christmas

"In those days a decree went out from Caesar Augustus that all the world should be
registered. This was the first registration when Quirinius was governor of Syria. And
all went to be registered, each to his own town. And Joseph also went up from Galilee,
from the town of Nazareth, to Judea, to the city of David, which is called Bethlehem,
because he was of the house and lineage of David, to be registered with Mary, his
betrothed, who was with child. And while they were there, the time came for her to
give birth. And she gave birth to her firstborn son and wrapped him in swaddling
cloths and laid him in a manger, because there was no place for them in the inn."
--Luke 2:1-7

Jesus is the reason for the season. That is why we celebrate Christmas.
It was a very nice day. We opened gifties yesterday, as hubby has to work tonight,
and we all got nice things. After we opened eveything, we had a big paper ball fight
with all the wrappings, it was fun, hehe.
As of yet, I have not started on my latest stitchy design, "David Danced". I was going
to start it, but then decided to wait until after christmas & new years. So now I have
that one and another one I am working on, to get stitched up and put in my photos.
I am also adding a list of a few things I want to do this year.

I will add more if I think of somthing. :)

Warm soda and a new website

Yea, we have been getting some pretty hot days here, the kind where you open a nice
cold soda, and all of a sudden there is this loud WHOOSHing sound, and you have
warm soda, hehe.
Anyway, we are enduring as best as we can. I lost my tripod site because when we got
firefox, it refused to work after that. Now I have found a site called moonfruit,
it's working nicely for just my little page.

You will find it at http://debscorner.moonfruit.com/#

It has my blog addy right at the top, so all you stitchers and swappers can see
just where to go!

Have a cool day!

Hulk puzzle and guinea pigs

My son and I had fun last night, working on this puzzle. It did not take a long
time, only 100 pcs, but the together time was great.
It was *85 yesterday, and headed that way again today, bummers! We have a good
collection of games & puzzles, so maybe we will spend the day just playing, hehe.
Our little piggy is feeling the heat to, she just lays in her house like a little
fur rag, poor sweetie. I wish they had zippers on their little coats, so they
could take them off when it's so hot, sigh.

More later.

A Fun Day!

Yea, I know, I have not been around lately, but today (and last night),
was lots of fun. (My birthday), and my daughter took me out to eat.
Got some nice things, and cake too.
So, I haven't been doing a whole lot of stitching, have been doing
a little more writing again, and playing around with trading a few stamps
for my book.
I am feeling kind of bad that I haven't been posting for so long, but I
get busy with other things too, my family is one big one.
I love both my kids dearly (how can you not love your kids?) Hehe.
They are the only two that are going to be, and believe me, that's
enough. Can't have any more.
So, anyway, I am so horribly far behind on my stitching that I'll never
catch up. I'm a hopeless starter junkie with a nice pile of wip's.
They are evil, but one day will be defeated.
I actually did get the pins and magnet projects done that I had planned
for june and july, and that is it, sheesh. I am going to make up some of
the little russian dolls into ornaments, the pattern looks so cute.
I also want to plan and do a felt penny rug with some nice colors in it,
sheesh, I am going to drive poor Greg nuts with all this junk laying
around, hehe. I am THE queen of wip's, hehe.
So, besides all that, I actually did some cleaning today, holy crap!
I'm not saying alot, but some, hehe.
Ok, is I think of anything else, i will post.
Happy trails.

Wonderful Saturday!

I had so much fun today! I went to a Mother/Daughter lunch at our church with
my mom and older sister. The menu was great, baked fish, pasta salad, fresh
fruit, and cheesecake! My sister gave me a beautiful china cup with
hummingbirds painted on it, from her and her husband.
I haven't had such a good time in quite awhile!
